Bringing Care to Our Community

Oct 5, 2026

The Remote Area Medical (RAM) event, held in Mt. Morris on October 3–4, 2026, and hosted by the New York State Dental Foundation, brought together hundreds of volunteers to provide much-needed care to our community.
More than 200 volunteers, including 90+ dental volunteers, came together to provide care to 289 patients in need of dental, medical, and vision services. The majority of care provided was dental, with more than $229,000 in care delivered!
We are especially proud of the 7DDS dentists who volunteered their time and expertise:
🦷 Dr. John Vorrasi
🦷 Dr. Phuong Bui
🦷 Dr. Hunter LaRosa
🦷 Dr. John Meyer
🦷 Dr. Bill Hurtt
🦷 Dr. Theresa Casper-Klock
🦷 Dr. Jay Skolnick, Dental Volunteer Coordinator
Thank you also to Dr. David Dipalma of Perry, along with the many local dental assistants and hygienists who volunteered their time.
A huge thank you to everyone who traveled near and far, including volunteers from Suffolk County, MCC hygiene students, and University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine faculty, students, and residents.
Your time, talent, and compassion made a tremendous difference in the lives of the people served. Thank you for giving back to our community!
