Our established family dental practice is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant. We are passionate about our patients, and are committed to helping them maintain excellent oral health. The right candidate will contribute to the success of the team, serving an integral role in patient care, including assisting the dentist with clinical treatments; setting up and cleaning treatment rooms; and escorting patients to the treatment room and making them comfortable. Other required duties include: • Taking dental x-rays • Preparing and sterilizing instruments, hand pieces and other equipment in compliance with OSHA standards along with ADA and CDC guidelines • Sending and monitoring lab cases • Providing post operative treatment instructions to patients • Providing patient education and nutritional counseling to maintain oral health • Monitoring inventory and ordering dental supplies • Various office tasks as directed by the dentist or office manager Education and Experience Requirements include: • High school diploma or equivalent • Graduate of accredited dental assisting program preferred • Strong Computer and technology skills • Eaglesoft and CEREC experience preferred • Dental assisting experience preferred Job Type: Full-time Benefits: • 401(k) matching • Employee discount • Health insurance • Paid time off |
