Session Description:

Dental implants have been a life-enhancing modality for partially and completely edentulous patients. The aim of the presentation is to review:

Prosthodontic treatment principles for single implant and multiple implant restorations.
Prosthodontic non-surgical esthetic zone soft tissue optimization (singles to multiple).
New advancements in digital technology, single to full arch restorations.
Prosthetic implant complications management techniques; single to full arch restorations.

Learning Objectives: At the end of this session the attendees will be able to:

1. Identify “Out of the box” treatment planning principles and skills/multidisciplinary team
    communication methods.

2. Understand prosthetic complications management, single to full arch cases.

3. Define per-implant soft tissue management.

Dr. Baig received his dental degree from Gulbarga University, India 1997. He completed his
residency at Government Dental College and Hospital in Hyderabad India. Dr. Baig completed 
an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program and received a certificate in Prosthodontics
at the Eastman Institute for Oral Heath, University of Rochester. Dr. Baig is a clinical associate
professor at the University of Rochester in the Department of Dentistry at the Eastman Institute
for Oral Health. He also works as a clinical instructor in prosthodontics at Mt. Sinai Hospital, and
is an associate in dentistry in Toronto, CA, and in private practice at Dental Specialists Group,
Woodbridge and Prosthodontic Associates, Toronto, CA. Dr. Baig is a board-certified prosthodontist
in Canada and serves as a national examiner for National Dental Specialty Examination (NDSE)
of Canada; the licensing exam to be a prosthodontist in Canada, and a national examiner for
Prosthodontics Fellowship (F.R.C.D.(C)) administered by Royal College of Dentists of Canada since
2014. Dr. Baig was awarded the part-time Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching by the University
of Rochester for the year 2019. Dr. Baig received a fellowship award at the International Academy
for Dental Facial Esthetics, November 2021. He has published articles in peer reviewed journals and
holds special interests in aesthetics and implant dentistry, reconstructive, fixed and removeable
prosthodontics, dental ceramics and smile makeover procedures, advancements in digital dentistry.
Dr. Baig lectures extensively to dental study clubs and professional organizations across North America
and Southwest Asia.

The Seventh District Dental Society is an ADA/CERP recognized provider of Mandatory Continuing Education. Continuing Education (CE) credits are awarded for all lectures that meet the NYSED requirements
One hour of credit is awarded for each 50 minutes of presentation attended. CE forms for NYS Continuing Education requirements will be given to each attendee when checking in at registration.
