We are looking for a Patient Care Coordinator for our dental practice! We are a family owned private dental practice with over 60 years experience in serving our patients and the community we live in. A Patient Care Coordinator would work directly with our patients to meet their primary dental needs by acting as a contact between the patient, and office, in financial discussions regarding treatment and insurance payments for treatment. A great Patient Care Coordinator has excellent interpersonal skills and is detail oriented, especially when communicating with patients and insurance companies. Keeping excellent patient records as well as an organized work plan is an essential skill we are eagerly searching for. Experience in dental terminology, as well as billing, and insurance, is preferred for this position. This position includes, but is not limited to, the following daily/weekly tasks: Managing pre-determinations and EOBs. Scheduling and Coordinating simple and complex treatment plans. Submitting and managing insurance claims. Treatment plan presentation and financial consulting with patients. Coordinating weekly billing statements. Collection and organization of patient records, and Insurance Information. Coordinating treatment with dental labs and evaluation of billing. Facilitating newly established patients. This position requires candidates to be personable, organized, have excellent time management skills, be well versed in dental terminology and coding, and be able to work cohesively within a team setting.
