Med-Scribe is partnering with a respected, mission-driven nonprofit organization in Rochester to identify a compassionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join their specialized dental team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a specialized patient population, including individuals with developmental and neurological disabilities, in a supportive, team-oriented environment where quality of care truly comes first.

The Dental Hygienist will provide preventative and therapeutic dental care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, radiographs, and oral health education. This role emphasizes collaboration with dentists, medical providers, families, and support staff to help patients achieve their oral health goals in a comfortable and respectful setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing prophylaxis and periodontal care
- Reviewing medical histories and identifying special care needs
- Taking radiographs
- Providing oral hygiene instruction tailored to patient's ability
- Ensuring strict infection control standards
- Assisting chairside as needed
- Supporting a positive and inclusive care environment
Compensation and Benefits
- $38-$43/hour (based on experience)

Job Requirements
- Licensed Dental Hygienist in New York State
- Certification in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide is preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
