We are seeking a positive, outgoing, and energetic Full-time Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to join our growing family run practice. This team-orientated individual should possess integrity, honesty, reliability, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities: • Assisting the doctor in chairside tasks. • Taking dental x-rays. • Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment. • Preparing trays of instruments and rooms for procedures. • Maintaining dental equipment and inventory. • Be familiar and comply with all Health and Safety rules and guidelines on infection control. • Performing additional front desk office duties as needed. Qualifications: • Minimum of 1-year chairside experience. • Friendly and outgoing demeanor. • Superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology. • Experience with dental patient screening and medical history documentation. • Excellent computer and time management skills. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Comfortable with use of intra oral scanners. • Experience with oral surgery and dental implants. Hours: Monday through Thursday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. |
