We are looking for a hygienist l who is interested in providing patient centered, high level care in an office that provides a broad range of treatments including perio, implants and complex crown and bridge. We are a team that works together to ensure the patient's expectations are always exceeded. For this reason we have been one of the premier offices in the region for many years and have created an extremely loyal patient base with deep rooted ties to the surrounding counties and beyond. We are located in Seneca Falls and look forward to speaking with you. Responsibilities: Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination Sterilize dental instruments properly Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride) Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques) Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures Take X-rays or dental impressions Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer) Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Monitor supplies Skills: Proven experience as Dental Hygienist In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA) Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment Outstanding communication skills A patient and friendly personality Attention to detail Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job Valid license to practice Our Culture: Outcome-oriented -- results-focused with strong performance culture People-oriented -- supportive and fairness-focused Team-oriented -- cooperative and collaborative Benefits: Dental insurance, Employee discount, Flexible schedule, Flexible spending account, Health insurance, Paid time off, Parental leave, Professional development assistance, Retirement plan |
