Job Title: Dental Hygienist Job Type: Full-time/Part-time/Per diem/ flexible work schedule $40++/hour Reports to: Dentist and Practice manager Job Description: Gentle Dental Care of Rochester, PC. is a small family practice that is looking for a detail oriented Dental Hygienist to join our team of professionals. We are a dynamic and team-oriented practice that provide a wide range of services for all patients. We are seeking an individual with strong interpersonal skills, who will provide preventative dental care and educated patients on oral health issues. Responsibilities: o Perform dental cleanings, including Periodontal scaling and root planing o Take dental radiographs: including Panoramic, plus if experience with Nomad device o Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques while ensuring patient comfort o Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and workspace while adhering to infection controls and safety procedures Qualifications: o Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program o Current New York dental hygienist license o CPR certification o Strong communication and interpersonal skills o Attention to detail and ability to work independently o Proficient in Dentrix software Plus, and/or ability to quickly learn a new program o Minimum of 2 + years of clinical experience is required Benefits: o Paid holidays o Matching 401(k) o Options after 1 year as well as vacation days o Dental insurance o Employee discount o Flexible schedule To apply: Interested and motivated candidates: please submit cover letter and resume to botanafaith@gmail.com. |
