Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic pediatric dental team. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments for patients. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' oral health and document findings accurately. Review medical records and maintain detailed documentation of patient care. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Utilize Dentrix Ascend software for patient management and record keeping. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff. Stay updated on advancements in general dentistry practices and procedures. Qualifications Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations. Strong knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and general dentistry practices. Experience with documentation review and maintaining medical records is preferred. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment. Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend or similar dental office management software is advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating professionalism at all times.
