A great deal of progress is underway. In the meantime, we wanted to share some examples of recent media coverage around NYSDA’s efforts to expedite a decision by the Governor and to allow the immediate reopening of all dental offices and services.
NYSDA sent a press release on Thursday, May 21. It was picked up by Dentistry Today; in addition to many other media outlets.
"New York dental association: let us reopen our offices fully" published by the Albany Times Union (5/27, Carballo) who interviewed Executive Director Dr. Mark J. Feldman and member dentist, Dr. Eric McMahon from Fourth District Dental Society, on how dentists are well prepared to safely fully reopen their practices using state guidelines and OSHA-approved workplace precautions.
Dr. David Mitola, President of Third District Dental Society, sat down with the Albany Business Review to discuss the importance of resuming services as dentists face patient backlogs. (5/26, Dawes, Subscription Publication)
Dr. Steven Stacey, President of Fifth District Dental Society, spoke with Syracuse.com about how he and fellow CNY dentists are preparing to safely reopen. (5/26, Coin)
Dr. Chris Salierno from Suffolk County Dental Society was recently interviewed by WABC TV Eyewitness News on Long Island. This should air this afternoon/evening. Be on the lookout for the broadcast.
